Brilliant New Labour Tactic: the Tories are soft on rapists. Really, that's what they're saying. And all because the Conservatives think that innocent* people's DNA should not be held on a national database.
Perhaps Gordon can explain why his ain party north of the border is equally "friendly" to rapists. After all the laws on DNA retention are different in Scotland and here you're DNA is removed from the database if you're not charged or convicted of a crime. That's something Scottish Labour were happy to maintain when they ran the Wee Parliament in Edinburgh. And rightly so.
It's going to be an edifying campaign isn't it?
*Yes, sometimes some of these people will commit a crime. But that's one of the prices we pay for living in an open society. The logic of Brown's argument - if it can be dignified as such - is that the government should go much further. Perhaps everyone should have to wear a security bracelet or have some kind of monitoring chip implanted. After all, if it saves just one life...

Fairness for all? Where's the fairness in the different treatment of DNA between England and Scotland, Brown, you repulsive turd?

Not many removals likely then?

March 2nd, 2010 11:05am Report this commentIn Brown's presbyterian world we are all born sinners so it is logical that we should all undergo 'preventative' treatment, just in case.
But this is utterly childish, there is no way that these cretins should come close to winning an election with this kind of tripe. If this is the level they've sunk to, and they have, we should be laughing at them. Cameron should be winning by miles regardless of whether the 'real' Conservatives who populate these threads want him to or not.
