Like McShandy, I feel I need to track down, purchase and read a copy of this. Who knows what lessons for our time it may contain?

(Actually, it doesn't seem to be a rare book but, obviously, it's not the same without the Nazi Leprechauns on the cover.)

Presumably these would be the Irish Fascists (Greenshirts?)like Patrick Pearse and someone who called himself General O'Duffy that Terrible Beauty Yeats warmed to so much.

I wonder - did Eamon de Valera wear an armband when he went to the German Embassy in Dublin to sign their condolence book on the death of Hitler?

The so-called leprechaun leader is in fact Alberich in disguise, hoping to steal the gold at the bottom of the rainbow, just as he stole the Rheingold.
