We threw the match rather. When the first rank of your general officers refuse to fight their own people, the ones that do not refuse behave with hitherto uncharacteristic lethargy and incompetence, and a faction within the Commons burst into choruses of "Yankee Doodle" at news of each British reverse.....

Apart from that, it was a great rendition.
Loved his "Unanswered Question" lectures on TV. I think they are still available on DVD (at a price of course; definitely not cheap).
