October 29th, 2008 2:33pmGood, hitting both McSame and Scary Sarah.
Poll number starting to get tighter, but not in EV terms, which is counterintuitive.
McSame needs a tsunami of changed minds to win. Would need to win 52-48 on polling day to win given the number of votes already in.
Fingers crossed for a Dem Senate of 60 and 270 House and a 370 EV win.
And then a hailstorm of policy, without filibuster to reengage the American population and therefore the world.

Ooh, no. You want the checks and balances intact, not rode roughshod over.
Definitely an Obama presidency, and even perhaps Dem majorities in Congress, but not to that extent.

Isn't that a reason not to vote for Obama?

The US and the world needs a tsunami in decent politics, that is not obsessed with war, oil, and haliburton profits and least of all "God".
If the US leads in these areas, the rest will follow.
A vote for McCain is a vote to overturn Roe vs Wade, a vote for big oil, a vote for man walked with dinosaurs.
We need better than that.
