Well, it’s not a moose being killed but it is still slightly odd to watch a politician being interviewed while Thanksgiving Turkeys are being killed in the background.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....shouldn't you relabel this area Manhattanacano? Don't you have any grasp of Flyover USA?

"Let’s see…A Governor of a mostly rural state does the annual ‘pardon the turkey routine’ and then continues with the news crew and answers some of their questions. The turkey farmer continues to do what he does a week before Thanksgiving, which is to chop a few extra heads. And some people, especially some that really should know better, start frothing at the mouth about PR people and/or cruelty to animals and/or “I NEVER” type bullsheeit. What happened to the turkey in the background during Gov. Palin’s interview happens most everyday on farms in EVERY state of the Union, including New York (maybe even on Long Island).

Does everyone here that thinks that the Governor should fire her current PR people also think that she should stop being Sarah Palin and not go hunting for caribou and moose anymore? That she shouldn’t interact with her constituents regardless of their occupation/income level/Ivy League sheepskin or any other qualifier? That Todd should stop racing 200 miles across Alaska on a snow machine at speeds approaching 100 mph? That the Palin’s should draw their curtains so that reporters from People Magazine won’t see that mother moose have her calf in the Palin’s driveway? (calves don’t come out wrapped in swaddling blankets, ya know)…

Governor Palin seems to be a good Governor, an unpretenious person, someone honest. If she were to bring in some slick PR media types to “advise” her, the media would just start labeling her a plastic Barbie doll."

Couldn't agree more.

That's not the worst of it. What was paricularly laughable wasthe liberal medias over reaction. The MSNBC host told children to leave the room whilst the New York Times said the turkeys were being "executed". I think this does her more good than harm, it demonstrates that she doesn't pander to the east coast media's perceptions of how a politician should be and shows that she ias a "real" person. To be bothered about this is to be really shallow.

Cabbie if the GOP doesn't want to be a turkey voting for Thanksgiving in 2012 they will leave Palin broiling in Alaska from whence she was plucked. Her turkey is well and truly cooked. I know, I know sorry

THX1138.....which is why, of course, the Republicans have asked her to do four rallies for them in Georgia for the Senate run off election...strange for a "cooked turkey"

Aged P- Palin only appeals to the christianist wingnut, trailer park crystal meth Republican party that was so trashed in Nov.

Let Palin talk to her own in Georgia who cares.

What you have to worry about is why anyone with an education & a decent job rain a mile from the Republicans this election cycle. Look no further than the crazy woman on the you tube clip above.
