NCC Group profits rise

NCC Group plc, the information security assurance group, has reported final results for the year ended May 31, 2009.

Group revenue grew by 31% to £46.8m. Group adjusted pre-tax profits were up by 17% to £12.3m and EPS increased 17% to 26.1p.

The total dividend was 9.25p, a 32% hike on last year.

Net debt was £5.6m at the year-end but the company expects to be debt free by August 2010.

Group Escrow maintained strong organic revenue growth of 13%.

Assurance Testing is now firmly established as the UK's largest independent information security business.

Two acquisitions were completed and integrated in the period.

Rob Cotton, chief executive, said: 'We have delivered our strongest performance to date against a backdrop of worldwide downturn. We have started this year in a very strong position which has given us considerable confidence in our ability to deliver further growth.'
