An important and interesting question, what really is it that women want from this modern world? A better work life balance? Equal shares of the domestic work to be done by men? Equal pay?
Antonia Bance has found the answer, not that she likes it very much. A survey of 1,000 young women found that 63% regarded being a glamour model as their ideal profession.
As the good feminist I am I am therefore going to have to up my consumption of pictures of semi- and fully-naked women. Increasing the demand for such "glamour" photography through personal consumption will of course increase the opportunities for said young women to enter their ideal profession, a result to be profoundly desired.
A tough job, I know, but it is my duty, don't you think? To provide opportunities so that the young can achieve their dreams? Isn't that the moral duty of those of us on the cusp of maturity and the slide into senescence?
