Is it too early to start a campaign for John McWhorter for vice-president next time around? Here he is on The Colbert Report, talking about the prospects for the Obama generation. Shame it was such a brief appearance. I'm not sure Colbert knew what to make of him, to be honest. (My recent article about Mr McW and rap is here, if you're interested.)
