David Frum's quick-fire review of Sarah Palin's first major Q&A:

She's under-informed and over-confident.
I'm glad he brings up the confidence question, because it's been bothering me too. Am I allowed to use the word "cocksure"? I don't want anyone to think I'm making sexually- charged remarks about her. After all, some people even noticed Obama's use of the F-word:
There's one thing I haven't seen anyone else say that I think needs to be said. Obama did not just mention a pig. He immediately mentioned a fish. That's two animals in rapid succession. And both of these animals are frequently used in sexual insults referring to women.
All I'll say is that I'm constantly struck by Palin's demeanour. People who like her would call it "sassiness". Either way, I wonder if it will catch her out in the end.
