An interview with Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones, the outsider who's now the Tories' man in Chippenham. (My dad used to work in the town's Westinghouse factory, but that's another story.) WEJ - who is no toff, in spite of the double-barrelled name - has little time for supermarkets, bankers or patronising left-wingers. His scholarship scheme, which gives young men a glimpse of country living, sounds like a fantastic idea.
