Blogging not "dead" - official

Via Adrian Monck, I discover that the anonymous Economist writer who gave us that mildly downbeat assessment of the state of the blogosphere isn't really so pessimistic. And he has a blog of his own too, so make of that what you will. The techies he consults on his site aren't gloomy at all, as far as I can see, even if they think other forms of technology are carrying the conversational impulse into other directions. As the co-founder of Blogger.com puts it:

Twitter is now my go-to place to share a thought or a link. I still blog on occasion when I have something I can’t squeeze into 140 characters.
At first, I thought there was a nought missing in that quote. But apparently not. Can you really have a dialogue in 140 characters?
