A bleak and wintry night on the South Bank yesterday, but there was a miniature heat-wave inside the QEH. I know I've raved about Concha Buika before, but I can't resist replaying her TV performance of "Volver, Volver", with her producer and all-round Svengali Javier Limón on guitar. Last night's version, with jazzy piano and drums, was even more powerful. If this doesn't do anything for you, check your pulse.
