When I said it was a relief that, for all its flaws, Steven Soderbergh's Che Guevara biopic didn't fall back on the usual Hollywood cliches, this is what I had in mind. Al Pacino turns Arthur Scargill into the superhero who saved the coal mines in probably the sharpest Comic Strip spoof of them all. If only the House of Commons was really this entertaining.
