As I seem to be the only person in western Europe who enjoyed John Prescott's TV programmes on class, I'm not surprised he's made such a lively start as a blogger. But what's he doing plugging drum 'n' bass when he's supposed to be one of Westminster's guardians of bop 'n' swing? All right, I'm only joking - it's a fun clip. Still, I live in hope of seeing something as quietly funky as this...Yes, another performance of "Poinciana" by my favourite pianist, from a documentary about one of the world's great music festivals, held every summer in a gorgeous village in deepest France. Can't wait to go back there one day.
