He cannot be serious?

Tennis is, after all, the sport for people who don't like sport.

No, he means golf, surely? Is there another game (I can't bring myself to call it a sport) where walking is too much of an effort? I mean, even darts players don't need a block and tackle to help them sink all those lagers. An alarmingly large number of my sixteen year-old son's friends are passionate about golf. Whatever happened to the youth of today?

Yes, that's group of bona fide sportsmen in the photo, but I bet if I looked hard enough I'd also be able to find a shot of them relaxing with a round of tiddliwinks.

By the way, my middle name is Timothy. I've never been able to come to terms with that, although I suppose I should be grateful, as my Mum told me she considered calling me Marlon.
