Alex Massie assembles a list of recommendations which runs all the way from Waylon Jennings to The Kinks' "Muswell Hillbillies". It would be nice to think that Norah Jones is helping to raise the cool factor.
Incidentally, Alex's poll of over-rated and under-rated US presidents closes at the weekend. I haven't made my choices yet.
