One good thing about being a freelance and sitting on my own all day, talking to myself, is that I never have to come into contact with management consultants. Gary McKeone wasn't so lucky, but he at least gets his revenge in the form of a very droll op-ed. He and Toby Young should team up and devise a reality TV show involving bound and trussed apparatchiks from McKinsey

May 7th, 2008 12:28pmBit of easy target don't you think. Must something in it for business to spend so much money on consultants it wouldn't be the billions of dollar industry it is if the clients didn't feel they were getting value for money. What they do is make money for themselves & their clients what's wrong with that?

THX1138 - Your line of logic is weak. This 'billions (?) of dollars industry' thrives as part of the tax aversion sector. Yeilds as much 'value for money' as its close relation, the team-building shagfest.

State funded bunkum.
