I have no idea whether or not the allegations made against the deputy mayor are true. All I'll say is that he put up a pugnacious performance on Channel 4 News. (Sunny Hundal agrees.)

UPDATE: Dave Hill - not a member of the Boris fan club -  notes that one of the patrons of Lewis's Eastside Academy is the flying archbishop, John Sentamu, who's the sort of guy who presumably has some inside knowledge of the goings-on in the C of E.

UPDATE 2: But the Evening Standard believes there are questions to be answered.
