The Blairs are fair game on the Labour website

Peter Hoskin 8:56am

Sure, Labour Central - the revamped Labour website's news aggregator - is "neither responsible for, nor necessarily endorses the content of the Website to which you will go after clicking" their news links.  But they still pick the links nonetheless - which generally means that all the stories are completely neutral/positive towards Labour.

Odd, then, that their current top news pick (see screenshot to the left) is a story which starts:

"How very different from the Blair years.

Cherie Blair's annual tour of the conference stalls used to be one of the minor highlights of the Labour conference - a must-attend event for journalists looking for a wacky picture and a salty quote.

She revelled in this once-a-year chance to bask in the spotlight - giving full rein to her theatrical tendencies and love of a good natter."

It seems that Ed Ball's isn't the only one keen to peddle an anti-Blair message...

If anything, apart from the economy stupid, confirms the Labour party's direction (or lack of) - BACK TO THE FUTURE - it is this "dissing" of Blair.

What short memories.

Where would ANY of them be without Tony Blair over the last ten years?

That's right, nowhere.

With Brown in charge in 2001 and even 2005 they would likely have lost.

FACE IT FOLKS, BLAIR WAS A WINNER.

Uncomfortable for some of you, but true nonetheless.

And the mass ranks of Old Labour know nothing about winning.

Been there, lost the t-shirt.

I'll still keep asking these questions until and unless the country gets REAL answer and REAL leadership.
