Tamzin needs some wellies

Tamzin Lightwater 3:52pm

Been everywhere and can’t find designer wellies. Am getting desperate. Does anyone reading this have any idea where I can get them? They don’t need to be leopard patterned. In fact would prefer a pair with ponies on, if possible.

I’m going to get into terrible trouble for going shopping during Gids’s taxathon but all these policies are making me feel a bit panicky. Jed’s on a major policy high. Every time we announce one he makes a noise like a cowboy. The more right wing the policy, the louder he screeches! Personally, I feel a bit bruised by it all. Of course I'm delighted we're going to give people like me a big discount on the cost of their first home, but if I had to chose I would say I definitely preferred it when we were Compassionate. It was just a lot nicer somehow.

Anyway, all ideas on wellies gratefully received...

Have kitten heels had their day then, Tamzin? And why wellies? Is this a reaction to the summer floods? Remember Gordon had only been PM for 5 days (or was it 7) when the rains came, but if they dare to come back, he'll raise his arms to the heavens and succeed where King Canute failed: trust Gordon, girl, and stick with the heels.

Why 'designer' wellies. in God's name? Save your cash for your first home and get a green pair from Milletts.

Tamzy baby, don't listen to the oaf John - Milletts for heaven's sake ! I think he is just teasing you. Do not, I repeat, Do NOT wear a pair of 'Hunter' wellies, dear. These are almost exclusively worn by townies with a small paddock and cottage in the countryside who know fork all about life in the country. They are Country Life rather than Farmers Weekly. No, if you are to blend in as a proper welly wearing babe, then it is a pair of Argyll's for you, poppet. http://www.wellie-boots.com/argyll-farming-wellington-boots.htm And, honey, when it comes to wellies, as with underwear, black really is the new black. Theresa Gorman has great taste in shoes, but she really made a serious fashion faux pas with those hideous wellies. Please tell me you won't make a hash of it like that ? Lots of love, babe - gotta go..

Tazmin, I agree with Farmer Jowls, Hunters are so last season! Flower power is back and ready for the winter. Wellies are this years must have fashion item! We would suggest some funky Tayberry Grety Spots, http://www.fredsclothing.co.uk at only £29.99! They are so funky!
