We really must be patient and not expect all three letters to be produced quickly. I hear that Mandelson can only type two-fingered.

They have given up their attacks on Dave because they are plainly fruitless.

Aiming their fire at Osborne is a very clever idea. Unless the Tories have a well-briefed deputy/understudy who they've been keeping hidden they must find a way to come out of both the economic and political situations with Osborne intact.

Really if Osborne is as astute a tactician as we are told he should have been prepared for this.

"...Mandelson can only type two-fingered..."

The two fingers appear to belong to Peston Minor, and appear to be aimed in the direction of BBC impartiality.

Three versions? Why? Something's not right here. I hope journalists investigate what's really going on. I don't believe we've been told the half of why Rothschild wrote the letter he did and who was really behind it.

As I said, who trusts a Rothschild?

Three versions?

Why might that be?

Well, of course, when composing such a hot potato, you do often slave over the exact phrasing for maximum thrust. However, I've yet to hear of rough drafts being sent along with the finished article. How curious! Still, all this is so much hogwash to blind us to the bleak realities of life under a statist socialist government.

There is one obvious nonsense about this - the figure being quoted. What is £50,000 ? It's peanuts for a political donation and a Russion (or any other) multimillionaire. No-one would piddle around with such a minimal sum. That's the blatant weakness in the allegation.
