I certainly fancy seeing "Slumdog Millionaire" and despite Winslets vomit inducing acceptance gush at the Globes, "Revolutionary Road" appeals. Must see;- Mickey Rourkes "The Wrestler" Cruises "Valkyrie" Sheens "Frost/Nixon"

On the TV front, I cannot see beyond tonights opening editions of 24 season 7.Jack is back, nuff said.

Art- looking forward to upcoming Picasso exhibition at the National Gallery I believe.

Music: Looking forward to seeing Richard Thompson at the New Theatre in Oxford.

Sport: 6 nations , we`ll see if Johnson can turn England round. Can Murray win a `slam - I think he can. However, the Ashes completely dominate my thoughts, anyone got a Lords Test or two they don`t need/want?

Peter Morgan's brilliant play transfers from the Donmar to the big screen with great success thanks to fine performances from the original actors Frank Langella & Michael Sheen & masterful directing from Ron Howard, a must for all you polticos out there.

The best song about Iraq & from a GI's POV.

"At least we're winning on the Fox evening News". Great line

I read an Interview with Richard Thompson he got the idea & the slang from reading GI blogs, before the Pentagon started banning & censoring them all.

Still some good reading at
