Report: Intelligence warned of Glasgow attack

12:51pm

Interesting report from ABC News on the Glasgow attacks:

“U.S. law enforcement officials received intelligence reports two weeks ago warning of a possible terror attack in Glasgow against "airport infrastructure or aircraft," a senior US law enforcement official tells the Blotter on ABCNews.com.
The intelligence reports also warned that airports and aircraft in the Czech Republic could be the targets of  al Qaeda-connected terrorists.”

Some of the posters think the intelligence was withheld by the US authorities. That would be quite something, especially after it was the Pakistani authorities that tipped us off about the liquid bombs last summer.

That is a disgrace the attack could have killed 1500 and we were not warned. So much for "You are with us or against us". Brown should demand an explanation. It could have wrecked lives and the Yanks. Are the yanks on the side of the terrorists.
