The 'apology DVD' story keeps on rolling

Peter Hoskin 3:25pm

Just to flag up Martin's latest blog post, in which he details Downing Street's reponse to his 'apology DVD' scoop.  Well worth reading, particularly as it features a (typically) less-than-charming text message from Damian McBride...

So let's get this straight: Martin Bright (and The Spectator) publish stuff that isn't true, and it's the people who point that out who are at fault? Truly, 'journalism' is a wonderful thing, fantastic even.

Ivan, look at the terms used. A real denial of the story would not be so pedantic. It would say nobody at no 10 has requested the material, no copy of it exists in any form, etc etc. That's a denial. What they say almost amounts to an admission, in no 10 speak.

You are behaving like a plant again.

Anyway, Mark Steyn says that Obama is Jimmy Carter at warp speed.

I like it. I sense the truth in it.
