November 16th, 2007 9:24amThis is the sixth Coffee House entry in a row about these stupid awards. Enough! Let's get back to the real news.

November 16th, 2007 10:26amWell done to George Osborne - he made a witty speech. Shame on Angus MacNeill - his words on behalf of his leader were discourteous and petty and reinforced my negative feelings towards him and his party. I watched some of the transmission but look forward to the full video. Perhaps those who did not turn up to receive the awards should be made aware that the broadcast was viewed. Methinks that will ensure attendance in the future.

November 17th, 2007 2:51pmI'm so excited by this announcement! It shows real insight, originality and an overwhelming sense of impartiality. If only I could think of one reason to agree or be impressed: what have I missed? Aren't awards distractions from the real issues, to be handed out and recieved by the smug and self-satisfied narcisistic careerists that feed off the attention. A such this award is a reason to hate and avoid both the recipient and this publication; ego-manics both.
