With the news that New York banker salaries have risen by 140% in the last 4 years, New York magazine takes a look at how much other things have increased by in the same period. Put into context, the rise looks a lot less dramatic. A two bedroom coop unit is now 59% more expensive, dinner at a top restaurant is up 58% and that Wall Street symbol of success--your own place in the Hamptons—is up 112%.
