Bill Clinton takes the gloves off
James Forsyth 4:51pm
With Barack Obama becoming a more serious threat to Hillary Clinton’s presidential ambitions by the day, Bill Clinton has taken on the role of a silver-tongued attack dog. In a TV interview last night, he went after Obama hard on the experience front.
Take this quote attacking Obama's lack of national political experience which show just how panicked the Clinton camp is. "In theory, we could find someone who is a gifted television commentators and let them run. They'd have only one year less experience in national politics..."
The Clintons know that the holiday season will pause the narrative of the campaign, so they are desperate to put a dent in the Obama surge before Christmas. If they don’t, it might be too late and a win in Iowa could carry Obama to victory in New Hampshire, then South Carolina and all the way to the nomination.

The Dems are not going to give the nomination to someone who has, essentially, no experience in government (two years as a junior senator and that's it) and no executive experience (as in, he hasn't been the governor of a state) and make him the most powerful person in the world. I can understand the Hillary camp being worried because she should have been a shoo-in, but Obama isn't getting the nomination. Maybe next time, if he works diligently in the Senate for the next eight years. I cannot stand Hillary, but she has experience and is less frightening than this egotistical loon.

December 16th, 2007 11:24am Report this commentHas Hillary Clinton any experience in running a government? Unless one believes that a husband's experience somehow transmigrates to his wife, this question can only be answered in the negative. The voters in the primaries will definitely notice the irony of "the pot calling the kettle black"

Arnold Schwarzenegger is constitutionally barred from running for President. You have to have been born in the USA.
