Son of Fraser
Fraser Nelson 1:27pmMy favourite Ronald Reagan quote is how government is like a baby’s alimentary canal: endless appetite at one end and no responsibility at the other. I now have the chance to study the biological side of this analogy in the form of my (as-yet-unnamed) son, born this weekend. So I’ll be away from Coffee House for a short while, but back soon.

December 31st, 2007 2:53pmCongratulations, Fraser. After your dealing with all the wailings and screams for attention from Coffee House contibutors, looking after your son will be a doddle by comparison! You might get some more sleep as well (as if). Good luck for 2008.

December 31st, 2007 6:32pmFraser, Congratulations and may he grow up to be everything you could want him to be. Please, please though resist any possible temptations to name him David (or Cameron for that matter.) But Ronald Reagan Nelson - now that would be a name to live up to! I'll drink an extra wee dram to the three of you tonight.
