Introducing the revamped Spectator.co.uk

3:43pm

We've revamped the design of Spectator.co.uk.  There are technical tweaks and improvements aplenty, but three will be of particular interest to CoffeeHousers.

First, you can now register for comments by following the instructions here.  If you register, it means that any comments you make on Coffee House, and on other blogs, will appear instantly.  You can still make comments without registering, but they will enter the moderation queue as normal.  Once registered, you can sign-in using the "Login" button at the top right-hand side of any Spectator.co.uk page.

Second, we're delighted to welcome Rod Liddle on board as a blogger.  His Liddle Britain column is one of the most incisive, popular and provocative corners of the magazine, and we're sure he'll repeat the trick online.  So do tune into Rod's daily dispatches, and let him know what you think.  What's more, we'll be unveiling another new blogger shortly.

And, as some of you may have heard, we are changing the way the very latest magazine content is accessed online.  From this Thursday, if you want instant access to the articles, cartoons, reviews and puzzles in the latest issue, then you have to buy a copy of the magazine (there are six ways to do so here).  Subscribers will also be able to access them via a new Subcribers' Area of the site.  All that content will then be made available online, to everyone, a week after the issue is published.  Content from past issues is freely available in the Spectator, Books and Arts & Culture sections of the site.

If you have any questions about it all, then do email web @ spectator.co.uk, and we'll do out best to help out.
