In an effort to stamp out binge-drinking, the taxes on alcohol will be increased. Beer prices will go up by 4p a pint; wine up 14p a bottle; cider up 3p a litre.
What? When everyone is complaining about the kiddies getting pissed on the cheap cider, to deal with this the Chancellor is going to make cider even cheaper in relation to beer and wine?
