Graph of the day
Peter Hoskin 5:29pmHere's a neat little graph from PoliticsHome, which plots the three main parties' opinion poll ratings alongside their "party morale rating" from the PHI100 tracker. As PolHome put it, it kind of tells us what we know already: that party morale more or less correlates with poll position. But, given how so many politicians deny that they're fussed about polls, it's still good to see it in black and white:

December 2nd, 2009 5:42pm Report this commentInteresting that LibDem morale is higher than the reality in this poll but seems to be travelling to meet reality soon.
Labour, on the other hand appear to have morale quite a lot down on reality but almost describing the same path since April.
Tories almost got their wiggles the same and certainly since March have described the same path, with morale being more accurately describing the path that reality does.
Do these differences in internal perception give us any insight as to the real morale of the parties?

Bit like some other graphs that should have been more widely covered of late - n'est ce pas?

Why not tell us something we don't know? Like the editorial opinion on Neathergate?
