Did a 5 year old write this immature piffle.

The Spectator has really gone downhill.

The problem with Lightwater is that she's supposed to be satire but when you look at and listen to Dave and some of his chums, it shades all too murkily into the truth.

It's one of the reasons some of us who should vote Conservative, won't.

WTF is this?

It's neither funny nor clever, nor informative, nor elevating.

Ok, it's Friday evening . what's up? Everyone else down the pub?

Wilhelm - in your case, I think 'immature' means that you simply don't get it.

I get it, I just don't think it's very funny

I listened to a five year old last night spouting far more piffle than was written down here and he won.

Another of these musicians I've never heard of. Who is the bugger? Oh, by the way, I have heard of Susan Boyle. And the Big Bopper.

Here’s a simple test for those who watched the show. Which of the following comes from the Tory leader, and what’s conservative about it. Go on, have a guess.

On crime:

A: you have got to maintain the numbers of police; B: we need to see police on the street; C: we need more police on the street.

On immigration:

A: people feel there are pressures on immigration; A: immigration is too high and does need to come down; C: I just want a fair, workable system that counts people in and out.

On the NHS:

A: we want people to know public services are personal to people’s needs; B: the number of managers is going up faster than the number of nurses; C: the priorities are wrong – 5,000 managers were taken on last year.

And another thing: Wilhelm’s right, it is a piffle.

Don't you take any notice of these beastly remarks Tamsin. They're just jealous that you retain such vim, despite your Notting Hill environ.
