If you feel like an afternoon nap, then Labour's first local election TV spot (see below) might help you drop off.  If you stick through to the end, there are details of how to send questions through to Gordon Brown - a selection of which he'll answer tonight.  What will CoffeeHousers be asking our Dear Leader?

I find I cannot watch Gordon Brown any more.

Harold Wilson made me laugh, Tony Blair made me angry, Ted Heath made me dispair.

Gordon Brown makes me want to vomit.

I'm wondering if I have been a victim of the Ludoviko treatment

Vomiting is good. It purges you of evil and any wicked thoughts.. like voting for Brown or Livingstone.

...and tractor production in the Chelmsk region is up by 23.7%.
Truly awful. Most of the statements can be easily fisked but pass by in a blur of unreality and deceit.
I've already texted the great leader to ask why he is increasing taxes on the low paid. Somehow I doubt he'll answer that one as the questions will all be of the planted patsy variety.

Watching Gordon Brown doesn't make me vomit, it scares me. He is really creepy when he tries to be friendly.

It was just like a Brown speech, (a list of vague and misleading statistics) but with those cartoony animations which were cool in music videos a few years ago.

What's so funny Gordon? I wish you would let me in on the joke because I am not laughing. Creepy.

Best thing I heard was that Brown is called 'the dementer' as in Harry Potter. It describes him exactly; he sucks the life and light out of everything, looking at him depresses me and even more when he opens his mouth. Definately something very weird about the man.

ok - few things - the promises and stats are all very fine - but after 11 years - why are these still trumpeted as new issues to tackle?

Verity - what were you on when you made your last post? I'll have a pint of that please.....
Second - Brown's points are as if he has just dropped in from planet zog and is promising new stuff to fix problems - so remind me again who was responsible for the last decade??

Despite the loathing Brown induces in anyone with a regard for life, he is still pitiable. He is useless in the top job, and only succeeded in bringing ruination on virtually every aspect of life while no.2. It still amazes me how he achieved those poll ratings last summer because he'd done nothing to warrant them. Cave populum, perhaps.

Well, I have spotted another Brownie!!! If he thinks we believe that he will answer genuine questions he must be stupider than we thought.
I wont bother to watch, but I bet there wont be any questions on the Lisbon Treaty, the 5 million worse off as a result of the abolishing of the 10% tax rate, selling our gold at rock bottom prices, government borrowing out of control etc etc etc.
