First photographs of Camerons’ new baby

David Blackburn 2:43pm

Here is one of a new set of pictures of the Camerons posing with Florence Rose Endellion, who looks rather contented with life. It’s all very nice and there is no political capital in it. None at all. Honest.

It's an intrusion on family, but if Cameron had not had these pictures taken and released we know what the loonies such as RoY would have been making of it.

Still, I wish the child and her family well. It's welcome news after their bereavement.

Who gives a crap! What is this, Spectator??? The kid's not royalty. It has absolutely no bearing on the future of Britain and any link with our history.

Why are you such eager assistants in Cameron bigging himself up? He couldn't even win an election against the worst government in the history of Britain. He's a pinko loser.

Look how carefully Cameron's had his thin little squiff sprayed. I'll bet it wouldn't move in a gale force wind.

DC was right again..She is beautiful.
Not wrong on many things...to the annoyance of some. They know who they are.
Just think,Florence Rose will be five years old at the next election.
Ten when Labour get their act together & well on her way to uni when the current Labour bods sod off.
Oh happy days.
She is a little gem.

Verity, love, this internet lark is clearly too much for you. Get yourself back to the kitchen and make your husband a good roast dinner. That'll make you feel better, there's a dear.

Poor thing she will be bullied at school for having a dad hated even more than Thatcher and none of it her fault....maybe she will get lucky and be adopted.

A lovely baby and lovely names. I'm delighted for the Camerons. And most babies of that age look red and purple blotchy. How does Sam Cam do it? So refreshing too to have a dad who sounds genuinely enthusiastic in describing her as 'incredibly beautiful'.

I haven't left any comments on this site for some time because it has been infested by people like you but sheer anger and utter disgust at your comments have tempted me back on this occasion at least.

Your comments about David Cameron's beautiful little girl are some of the most nastiest, vile, disgusting comments I have ever read.

You should hang your head in shame for you are truly a vile, vile man.

Some very short memories here. Does anyone remember a baby called Leo and the fanfare on his arrival?
Florence Cameron looks delightful and her Dad looks proud. Why all the cynicism?

All new fathers say their babies are 'absolutely beautiful' - eye of the beholder and all that. But in this case it's true.. she is. And looks rather worldly-wise and seen-it-all, not scrumpled and red like most newborns. As I know, a new baby after you have lost a child is doubly trebly a blessing.

Yep I remember some of the posts not very nice some of them......same when Gordon had is son I think I remember one that said "I hope the silly cow doesnt forget to feed this one"
Perhaps you see now why I might be a tad un-moved by Cameron's sprog.

Wonder if he is thinking about all the other babies born on the same day who will be victims of his evil cuts, or whose parents he is about to throw on the dole.

Naomi Muse: The majority of new parents see their newborn as beautiful. However, in the case of a child born by caesarian, they are usually not puckered nor mottled since they have been spared the trauma of entering this world. Labour isn't only hard work for the new mother, the infant also has to struggle. As for all newborns, let us wish the child well and hope the future will be one of peace and good health.

Hello! I mean, Hola!

Good grief, imagine if Blair had been pictured with Leo like this. As I recall, he received dog's abuse for brandishing a mug with his kids' pictures on it.

Milking the birth of your beautiful baby for all it's worth - I thought only royalty got away with that.

Will there be a mug to commemorate this amazing Cameron birth event?

She's an absolute beauty but she is a wee bit jaundiced which is not unusual for babies that are born a bit early but nevertheless she should have a few check tests such as a blood test for alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency which is best picked up early.

ROY@ there is no need to be nasty about an innocent child, at the end of the day the only thing that seperates us is how to give children a better future. And that includes all children.

There might be lunatics and losers who put themselves beyond the pale - but even though we are on dividing lines - if your child fell into a river, we would without hesitation, jump into help. We would expect you to do the same for us.

Of course but i wouldnt use my children as a cover for the horrors Cameron is about to inflict on many parents in this country in the next few months. Its pure politicing with his own children....ask why its not a family pic....mum dad and siblings.
Why the publicity shot and not a normal press release. Is Sam not the mother so why not a mum and baby shot.
Its cynical exploitation for political purpose.

ROY@ she has just had a child, she won't be looking her best and feeling her best, no doubt she does not want to be photographed and that photo to circle the world at this time.

I have one on my wall of my beautiful wife and a new born child and i'm looking at it now and she does not look her best.

These things should never be commented on, and I would hate to think anyone would be vicious to a mother and child on your side. And lets be honest we are vicious but we must have standards.

August 30th, 2010 4:20pm Report this comment

Why would it be assumed that anyone would be interested in a photo of Cameron's kid? The kid has no meaning to our country. It's not royalty. This is just the baby of a politician who couldn't get win an election. I didn't have a flicker of interest in the other one, either.

I don't give a monkey's about the vile Cameron. Why would I care what his kid looks like? Why does he assume I do? I suspect this is the first of a series of photos to try to elevate the kid to young princess status - as if she has any relevance to Britain. The man is such a shabby trickster. Remember that pose in the Garden of Remembranced with his own private photographer? Remember that he was forced to apologise?

And greedy.
