Hoon: 'There is no crisis'

James Forsyth 1:59am

Geoff Hoon is turning in one of the worst TV performances I've ever seen by a front-line politician. His attempt to pretend that the results really aren't that bad is making him look like Baghdad Bob.

I have a vague memory of Mr Hoon swearing black was white when he head muppet at the MOD. Weapons of mass destruction perhaps?

Hoon was quality compared with Ivan Lewis's rant on Sky. Even Adam Boulton described his performance as disgraceful. Honestly, Lewis, Hoon, Miliband, Blears and co - they still don't get it.
