Sisters, we're not finished yet
James Forsyth 3:13pm
There’s no sign yet that Hillary is preparing to exit the race. Last night at a fundraiser for her female supporters she declared: “When I was counted out in New Hampshire, it was the women of New Hampshire who came back and said no, she’s not finished yet,” Clinton also said. “When I was counted out before Super Tuesday, it was women from California to Massachusetts who came and said no, we’re not finished yet”
This kind of comment won’t worry the Obama camp as they are about her not him. But her interview with USA Today when she talked about his trouble winning over white working class voters will. Ironically, the more she points to Obama’s general election flaws, the more she will push super delegates towards him who fear that these criticisms could become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

May 8th, 2008 5:55pm Report this commentIf the supers had any sense they would listen. But since when did the Democrats have any sense? The most disuniting primary voting methods devised have persisitently resulted in the more 'liberal' candidates getting selected, who do not hold up well in moderately liberal USA. Clinton Mk.1 was the exception. Is Obama another? I doubt it.

May 11th, 2008 12:31am Report this commentAmerica does not have the power or the respect of world community because of the likes of bushs & clintons, who would do anything to denegrate others to elevate themselves & retain power. Hillary has shown like her husband that she can lie through her teeth, be ruthless, create spins & dig dirt on a decent human with moral values, like obama who may be relatively new in politics & not have the years of high power contacts supporting blindly but it's good that many decent, intelligent citizens of USA can see through the hateful, angry eyes of hillary and know that the world does not need someone like her to delibrately create divisions between black, white, man, woman, faith etc to gain power & create history at whatever cost to american people(remember her husband's lies)? Americans need new blood like Obama. It needs to gain world respect through common peaceful dialogue to resolve world political problems not threats. One only has to look into hillary's eyes to see her contempt & anger at her own team, many of whom have deserted her, not without cause. They know the real clintons, not the public masked faces. Wake up america! Don't fall for 'spins' which the clintons are so good at. Obama does not use bullying tactics, race or gender issues because it's not in his nature. Good World leaders, who make a real difference are humble, honest and good listeners like obama, who I am sure will learn fast & make americans proud be americans again, united with each other & on the world stage.
No, I am not an obama supporter, only your objective english observer, who can see the great opportunity US has to choose well. Wake up America! The world does not need any bush or clinton again. It's time we all worked towards a united peaceful world through dialogue, peace, justice and respect for all humans irrespective of gender, race, faith etc. To Hillary - bow out with whatever dignity you may have left. Go play golf with your hubby in scotland & make millions on books & speeches. Leave the white house dream for the ones who really care for all americans & world issues. Superdelegates- get off the fence & support Obama now before you loose all together to republicans again. Good luck America!

May 11th, 2008 1:30am Report this commentbelieve Americans are wiser than Hillary's tactics of divide and rule. All problems facing this country affect all races. Does price of gas differentiate on race ???? She has changed her message continually and she is ready to say anything just to get nominated.
Americans should read between the lines. She is just too desperate. and and ready to lie, shift goal post in the middle of the game,... do anything just to get nominated.,...that's not ethical. let's not forget how Bush and his cronies lied about Iraq, that is an indication of what Hilary has to offer.
Madness is defined as doing the same thing, the same way and expecting any change.
In the best interest of this great country, SUPPORT OBAMA now and in Nov. and the country moves forward.
