May 22nd, 2008 6:20pmI do hope that if Ed Timpson wins this thing, he makes use of his speech to lay into the Labour campaign. Not in a way that would make him appear a bad winner, but a "the people of C&N have taken to the Conservative's positive campaign, in stark contrast to the old-fashioned, nasty and under-hand tactics of some of my opponents" sort of way.

Whatever, it must add fuel to the smouldering fire of demands for a thorough inquiry into the BBC and its future.
