Darling makes sense backwards
James Forsyth 6:50pmMelissa Kite has a quite brilliant post up on Three Line Whip about the nonsense government ministers have been spouting as they attempt to defend the Prime Minister.
Mr Darling goes on: "He has a very clear sense of direction where he believes we as a country ought to go."Again, he misses the point which is surely that this sentence would make much more sense if it was turned the other way around: Britain has a very clear sense of the direction it believes Gordon Brown ought to go.
Do read the whole thing.

Farcical. The transparency of the imitation and the kindergarten enthusiasm of the Labour great and good (I use the words advisedly) in the front row was ludicrous. It is getting quite difficult to watch these pompous, disenfranchised, unpopular, Grade A morons taking themselves so seriously.
As for "getting on with the job". Ha!

(we were all "poor" but wanted to be professional footballers at school , we never thought such aspiration was given to us by Harold Wilson though.)
