August 3rd, 2008 3:31pm Report this commentBy all means act as if faith is unconditional; especially faith in another living being. But if events confound your faith, yo umust withdraw it. Those who have had faith in a political leader will instantly understand.
Faith in an argument or thesis is a beast of another colour. All arguements and theses are challengable. We may and in general should defend our considered positions stoutly; but we should never forget "in the bowels of Christ, think it possible you may be wrong."
