Supply of Electronic Advertisements
Applications
Pass for Press PDF only via email or on CD.

Supplying Colour Proofs
COLOUR PROOFS SHOULD BE SUPPLIED FOR ALL COLOUR ADVERTISEMENTS
Colour photocopies and paper laser proofs are not accurate for colour quality control. Colour proofs should be posted to:
Production, The Spectator, 22 Old Queen Street, London SW1H 9HP.

Supplying Electronic Images & Page Files
A hard copy proof must match the supplied electronic file to enable accurate checking of the page.

EPS Files
The nesting of EPS files is not recommended.

Printing an EPS within an EPS increases the chance of the file having ripping problems. Generally, if the file will not print to your Postscript printer, the same problems will be apparent during production. Nesting may create linking problems between applications causing unpredictable results. All documents should be specified to bleed size to account for correct placement of bleed elements, with corner marks for cropping purposes in place to allow for efficient production.
