Shame on me. I just realized there's not a single science blog in my list of top twenty sites. Well, what do you expect from someone who has a Grade C Physics O- Level? It goes without saying that I'm not proud of this scientific illiteracy, and if anyone has any recommendations, I'd be grateful. In the meantime, I'm going to e-mail that digitally powered Renaissance Man, PooterGeek, to see if he can give me some advice when he gets back from his break. His little spoof of Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens laying waste to religion in a Michael Mann movie is worth a quick look, by the way: FIRST NUN: You’re not so skeptical when you’re staring at a shortcut to damnation, are you, Professor Dawkins?

September 14th, 2007 9:11pmIf you are not reading NumberWatch (www.numberwatch.co.uk), you are in a state of sin. Prof. John Brignell lays into the constant stream of specious pseudoscience that the press is so happy to promulgate. Another two indefatigable foes of scientific tosh are Ben Goldacre (www.badscience.net) and Steven Milloy (www.junkscience.com).
