Hold the front page! Shock! Horror!

The Guardian chooses as a front page story this astonishing news:

Lord Goldsmith's £1m job with US law firm.
Whatever next! Has the man no morals? He has gone to  work not just for a law firm, but - oh my! -  an American law firm.

As if it wasn't shocking enough that a lawyer has gone to work for a law firm, the Guardian reveals that:

...he has taken no more than the statutory three months to find a new role.
Goodness me, what a disgrace! He has only waited for the time he is supposed to wait before - oh my golly gosh - getting a job and earning money.

What has the world come to? People obeying the rules and getting jobs. The shame of it.
