Major Miller is about to return to action.
Having been off the course for almost 2 years, he was due to run at Haydock on Sunday but the ground isn't suitable. So the plan is now to run on Sunday week at Plumpton.
Assuming all goes well, he'll either have one more run over hurdles or go straight to novice chasing. It's very exciting. He has, after all, beaten Butler's Cabin, a winner at Cheltenham this year, the Irish National winner, and current favourite for the 2008 Grand National.

Unfortunately, the image is no longer available there. Happily, archived snapshots of Mr. Pollard's old blog (as well as most other web sites) can be found at 'The Internet Archive' (www.archive.org) I found the larger image in the December 31, 2006 snapshot.
