As Mel constantly misinforms us, Israel doesn't have one. And Louise Ellman, who was first to give Jenny a Tongelashing, doesn't belong to or represent any Isreali lobby group at all.

Tonge, when said that she could understand the despair to which Israel had driven Palestinians could create suicide bombers, was agreeing with Ehud Barak who said;

"If I were a Palestinian of the right age, I would join, at some point, one of the terrorist groups."

You clearly do not like Press TV Martin, although you took full advantage of coming on as a guest when I invited you on to The Agenda - thank you for your contribution. You enjoyed the right of every guest who comes into the studios, including JC columnists, to air your views freely.
But if it is, as you say anti-semitic, it would have been taken off the air by Ofcom under the organisations very stringent regulations.
Similarly, if it was racist in content, the plug would also have been pulled. Yes, Press TV is state funded (like Al jazeera, VOA, BBC Worldservice, RT etc)but it is not state controlled.
Just thought I would clarify that - and if you want to argue the point you are very welcome to come on to The Agenda should this become a subject on the show.

How on earth does 47 explain settlements, checkpoints, assassinations, blockades, travel restrictions and shooting fishermen for Gods' sakes!?

Admit it. Given that your PM is about to face travel restrictions of his own thanks to the international arrest warrant currently being framed, given that Livni can t even risk visiting the UK for fear of the arrest warrant out for her, admit that Israel has to find a new way of co existing with its neighbours that does not involve shooting their leaders or terrorrising their civilians.

This is my wife's take on this (she studied biological sciences at Oxford)...organ harvesting would be a waste of time for Israel in Haiti because the matching of organs would be too difficult. Additionally you can't take organs from people that have died hence the norm for accident victims to 'donate' their organs to the living. If Tonge doesn't have the faintest idea about this then why is she a health spokesman? I should add my wife studied in the late 90s but is unaware of any medical breakthrough that would give ANY credence to such accusations.
