Selling us all to Saudi Arabia

Monday, 3rd November 2008

The Islamisation of the west is proceeding according to plan, as the Times reports:

Gordon Brown claimed success yesterday in his attempt to persuade Saudi Arabia to help stricken economies by pumping more money into the International Monetary Fund... Lord Mandelson, who was also at the dinner at the Royal Palace, said Mr Brown wanted to ensure that the Saudi King was ‘on the same page’ over the causes of the financial problems and the solutions. ‘We are seeking “buy-in” from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states to the necessary response that we all need to make to the turmoil of the international financial system. If we don’t get that money we will fail,’ Lord Mandelson said...

Lord Mandelson said that the Saudis and other Gulf states would now expect a bigger role in global institutions in return for their investment.

You bet they will. Gordon Brown and Peter Mandelson are delivering Britain and the west into dhimmitude.*

* Definition of ‘dhimmi’ from the Dhimmi Watch site:

Dhimmis, ‘protected people,’ are free to practice their religion in a Sharia regime, but are made subject to a number of humiliating regulations designed to enforce the Qur’an’s command that they ‘feel themselves subdued’ (Sura 9:29). This denial of equality of rights and dignity remains part of the Sharia, and, as such, is part of the law that global jihadists are laboring to impose everywhere, ultimately on the entire human race.

The dhimmi attitude of chastened subservience has entered into Western academic study of Islam, and from there into journalism, textbooks, and the popular discourse. One must not point out the depredations of jihad and dhimmitude; to do so would offend the multiculturalist ethos that prevails everywhere today.

Give it a break.

"Gordon Brown and Peter Mandelson are delivering Britain and the west into dhimmitude."

Where is your evidence?

The only possible outcome of the policies of successive left-wing administrations in Europe over the past 40 years is the Islamicization of Europe. Until enough people realize the extent of the left's betrayal, things will only get worse.

Islam is absolutely on target. They understand how we think and they are using it to their full advantage. As in martial arts, you use your enemies perceived strength to defeat him. Push him in the direction he will naturally fall.

Always attempting to see into the mind of the scheming Left, I am extremely puzzled as to why they think that Socialism will dominate in a world where more and more of our real estate and finacial services are in the hands of people whose vehemently and clearly stated stated aim is to install (they would say re-install) Islam as the predominant religion/culture on the globe; to give those who already have a stanglehold on our energy supplies even more leverage on our future?

In Brown's case, it would appear that he is really prepared to do anything in the short term to cover the appalling errors of his stint in the Treasury and get elected as Prime Minister, rather than be humiliated by losng his occupancy of No.10 before having a mandate from the Nation at large?

Any port in a storm? If I were the Lord High Admiral, I think I would rather go down with my ship rather than hand the whole fleet over to the enemy. Somebody help me here, please. I'm willing to listen to any reasonable explanation for this lunacy, other than the one that is staring me in the face - that the 'Leader' of my country, rather than just being verrry, veerrrry eccentric, has gone stark staring mad!

Btw; it now seems that we have two Messiahs in the West competing for the role of the Second Coming - that wasn't forecast in the scriptures, was it? I have a pretty clear recollection of my Sunday School readings and I'm pretty sure that didn't feature.

This is not surprising. There are some common values between Islam and Socialism - and as I have quietly observed over recent years, this is why the British, in particular the young, appear to side with Middle Eastern nations - Israel excepted of course. Brown is a socialist and so this behavior will continue. There is no cover up, he has the support of the people because that is the fate they have chosen. So, as per the American elections, let the people reap what they sow.

Not to worry, Dhimmis are "protected people", and will be free to practice their religion, and maybe some aspects of their life, in a Sharia regime, but will be subject to a number of humiliating regulations designed to enforce the Qur'an's command that they feel themselves subdued'(Sura 9:29). This denial of equality of rights and dignity remains part of the Sharia, and, as such, is part of the law that global jihadists are labouring to impose everywhere, ultimately on the entire human race. Oh, bring it on Gordon - Someone pass the sick bag, please!

I find this rather sickening and I wonder what the Saudis and Muslims(via the MCB) will be getting out of this?
Will we be seeing a complete ban on alcohol?
The end of the pig industry?
Will Wahabism not only be taught in faith schools but also in state ones too?
Will we see the recent demands from the MCB as well be granted, such as "no communal showering & bathing for Muslim pupils","Islamic Studies and Arabic to be introduced at GCSE level" and "Only Halal meats to be served in schools"?
Will this mean the go ahead for the building of the Tablighi Jamaat Super Mosque next to the Olympic Stadium?

People are still completely unable to see the Islamisation of the UK. Like the boy who cried wolf, it's not just one, that's coming for you, but the whole pack.
The end of the pig industry?

Marco Polo, I disagree on one thing : "People" ARE aware of it, but there is a huge disconnection between the populace here and the ruling "intelligentsia". The Politicians and major media.

This is the problem we face. Not with Wahabbists but with their willing agents who in reality foist upon us a degree of subservience that not even genuine Muslims would ask to see!

Think of all those instances of banned Piglet memorabilia, houses built with toilets "facing " ( although which way that means remains profoundly ambiguous ) away from Mecca, etc. These are all imposed upon us by the Dhimmi - or should we say "Quisling" - "elite" in our local councils and TV stations.

Can anyone explain to me how it is that Peter Mandelson is allowed to set foot in Saudi Arabia when Saudi Arabia specifically refuses (based on sharia law) to allow any Jew to enter its territory? Anyone seeking to enter SA is required to state whether they are a Jew or not. If they answer in the affirmative they are simply refused entry.

Madelaine Allbright was allowed in during the Clinton era because she had been a Christian from childhood despite being born a Jew according to Jewish law.

In the 1930s and 1940s a Jewish convert to Islam who became Mohammed Azziz was informally adopted by the King and several of the royal princes - his autobiography 'The Road to Mecca' is a memorable book about life in SA before oil money corrupted so much.

In his eighties and early nineties Azziz seems to have been highly uncomfortable with much that was developing in the Muslim world, especially Muslim Holocaust denial, for the simple reason that both his parents had perished in nazi concentration camps.

Given the funding of Holocaust denial by the Saudis and other Muslim states it is revolting to see Lord Mandelson supping with his Saudi hosts.

There were supposed to be problems when the King of SA visited London earlier this year because of David Milliband being a Jew and it was hinted in the media that his absence during the royal visit wasn't entirely so that he could enjoy a spot of time with his family.

Gordon Brown has said publicly that he wants London to become the Islamic finacial hub of the world. Unfortunately, just for once, he seems to be assidiously sticking to his pledge....

A gentle warning to new readers.

When Melanie links to a Times article and writes that “The Islamification of the west is proceeding to plan as the Times reports,” this does not mean:

1 that the Times article reports that anything is proceeding according to plan, or

2 that the Times article reports that there is a plan, or

3 that the Times article refers to “Islamification” at any point.

Because the Times article doesn't do any of these things.

And, I'm afraid, if you assumed otherwise, alas Melanie has just abused your good faith.

'hatred and stupidity'

Contrary to what you condescendingly express, the regular supporters of Melanie on this blog are fully able to pull up a link that she highlights. If we need an interpreter any time soon we know where to go. Don't phone us we'll phone you. And if you wrote the article in the Times, then think yourself lucky that she drew attention to it and stop moaning that you have been traduced. We don't 'assume' anything in these here parts, we check it out and Melanie's remarks are very fair comment, given the content of the article.

Brown's behavior in taking up his Saudi hosts invitation to meet and shake hands with Al Qaeda extremists in one of their 're-education camps' could be construed as naive and stupid. After all the Saudis are not in the business of correcting the underpinning ideology of terrorists which they continue to trumpet and financially support. There concern is simply that their terrorist / re-educatees were using the wrong method at the wrong time and they are now belatedly anxious that their Al Qaeda foot-soldiers (re-eudcatees) do not become a threat to the current ruling elite. Of course for Brown to allow himself to be pictured shaking hands with these re-educatees whilst wearing a red poppy was to add insult to injury and shows the duplicity of the man . The question is just how long are we to go on excusing NuLabs behavior with regard to Islamists both at home and abroad as the result of naivety. I was struck by a posting on the Harry's Place website in which one of the main contributors David T let rip his frustration at NuLabs approach to Islamists in the UK. His conclusion, that NuLab cannot be trusted to act rationally or in the UKs interests with regard to Islamists, is one shared across the political spectrum. Brown's current trip is just one more example of NuLab cringing dhimmitude. Deluded by dreams of leading the new world order Brown let himself be manipulated by those who continue to provide the ideological and financial impetus for the islamization of the UK and the confrontations we have witnessed across the world. Moreover Brown then went on record as promising them a bigger role in that new world order. A promise which is both presumptuous and deeply disturbing. Its time that investigative journalists took a closer look at this NuLab government 's behavior towards those Islamists both at home and abroad who seek our destruction, so we the people of these islands can properly hold NuLab to account. Melanie Phillips is to be congratulated on her efforts to date and to be encouraged to keep shinning a light on the ever increasing list of NuLab betrayals.

China Russia or the Arabs. He needs to keep groveling until he loses the election and somebody else gets the mess to clean up.

True to the tradition of the Bushes, the Clintons, Thatcher, Major and Blair, Brown is in the Gulf paying court, and signing over key parts of his own country's economy.

I have long taken the view that, in any case, if we think in terms of "we" ( the customers ) and "they" ( the sellers ) then "WE" found the oil, we have always prospected and extracted the oil, we ship the oil, we refine the oil, we find uses for the oil, we are the almost entirely the only market for the oil ( until a way is found for a non-industrial society to have a use for it ) and therefore, in all meaningful senses, the oil is ours, it belongs to us and we should simply take it!

We have the tools at our disposal. Before long, if the Western economy continues to disintegrate, we may have little else. When desperation calls, the unthinkable ultimately becomes the inevitable.

Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Arab states have previously made special contributions to the IMF and the World Bank. Look fellows, it is a fact that immense sums of money have been transferred to the Arabs, mainly the Saudis.

This transfer has occurred via oil and over many decades. There was virtually no cost to the Arabs, oil is juste there.

The Arabs will never have serious manufacturing, R&D themselves. But they are astute people, if only merchants.

It seems that some of you fellows understand little. The birthplace of Islam was, what is today Saudi Arabia. From which it spread largely by military conquest.

Inspite of radical Islam, a similar military conquest is not possible today. But there are other forms of influence that can be had using money.

What do you think Britain has that may be dear to the Saudis? But having influence over you is still worth having and won't cost a lot.

If it comes to being cosy, very very cosy with the House of Saud, nothing & I mean nothing beats the current encumbrance in the White House plus his family, & VP, Five Deferment Dick plus the Halliburton/KBR Crew.
Then there are friends and supporters in the Carlyle Group that has/had some very interesting Saudi connections, in particular with the bin Laden family.
Then one might ask why following those 11 September incidents, when US air space was closed to any civilian air traffic, several plane loads of Saudi citizens were allowed to fly out of the USA?
A bigger question that arises is if 15 of the 19 involved in the 11 September attacks were Wahhabi Salafi Saudis and there were no Iraqis involved why was shock and awe visited on Iraq and not Saudi Arabia? This attack followed by an illegal invasion that has culminated in the Iraq Fiasco. There were no links to Iraq but plenty to Saudi Arabia.
Does this have something to do with Oil/Big Money/Republicans and the mutual pocket pissing between the House of Saud and many in/around the current Republican Maladministration

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - British Prime Minister Gordon Brown on Monday called on the new U.S. president to show further leadership on the global economy and not retreat into protectionism.

Speaking at an international oil conference here, Brown also for the first time explicitly stated that Gulf states should have a greater say in the governance of the International Monetary Fund in return for contributing to a bailout fund for collapsing economies.

"The next stage of globalization will require even more international cooperation with American leadership central to its success," Brown said on the eve of Tuesday's poll that will decide between Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain.

Suddenly the world is overpopulated, as I said above, with Messiahs. Except Gordon obviously thinks he's God Himself. To heel Obamessiah! Or rather - To Hell! - with both of them. First he flogs our gold, then he cedes our sovereignty to Brussels, now he wants to flog The West in its entirety to the Arabs. I suppose that should sort the militant Islam shtick - "Don't bomb us, buy us!" says British PM.

Think there's a bit of insider trading going on here, anybody? Allahu Akbar!

You really should restrain yourself, too much excitement in a man of your age could lead to apoplexy, that is if you are not already there?
What appears to be happening is the 21st Century update of what is attributed to, in chronological order Marx, Lenin, Stalin and which you Mr Pulley , as a student of Marxist Leninism not to mention Gramsci and Foucauldt will know,
The exact phrasing varies slightly but the sentiment expressed is;
"The last capitalist will sell you the rope that you will use to hang him."
Such is Die Weltanschauung Kapitalist.
So eager are the capitalist of the West to hang in there that they will make any Faustian Pact, they believe temporarily, to save their collective backsides. See my previous post concerning the House of Saud and the White House, Mr Pulley.

Hayward: I agree completely. The Saudi leaders are corrupt and have long been tied into the Republicans, specifically the Bush family. They also in essence exported their radicalism problem and we've all had to pay for that. However, the leaders themselves or the leaders of the Gulf states are hardly radical Islamicists invovled in some conspiratorial takeover of the west as Melanie Phillips and other posters suggest on this blog. JohnW,
"Proof is in a copy of a previously unpublished manifest,..... dated September 15, 2001, providing evidence of a private Boeing-727 Saudi flight from Lexington, Kentucky to London.
The names on the manifest raise serious questions about FBI policies and procedures related to witness identification, criminal investigations and obstruction of justice.
Ahmad A. M. Alhazmi, 20, (Saudi passport no. B805019) is listed on the manifest with Prince Sultan bin Fahad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, 19, (Saudi passport no. 406 A), son of Saudi defense minister Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz.
The name Alhazmi and its ties to laundered Riggs Bank cashiers checks may become a subject of interest when National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice testifies later this week, specially since young Ahmad Alhazmi has the same last name as Nawaf Alhazmi, one of the terrorists identified as an alleged hijacker of American Airlines flight 77.
The White House had originally asserted that flights evacuating Saudis from the United States after 9/11 never existed, but author Craig Unger, who has written a book about clandestine Bush-Saudi relationships, obtained flight manifest lists which were drawn up by the Saudi Embassy.
Besides the Alhazmi list, three other manifests confirm a total of four separate Saudi flights leaving the United States on September 15, 16, 22 and 24, 2001, after the World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks. Unger, author of "House of Bush / House of Saud: The Secret Relationship Between the World's Two Most Powerful Dynasties," has now posted all four manifests online." Est-ce que un nom de la poste ou votre nom propre?
Apologies but what you say will stand some correction as far as Saudi Arabia at least. In fact the House of Saud and Wahhabi Islam are an interesting pas de deux.
The House of Saud came to power with the support of Sunni Wahhabi Islam. It started in the middle of the 18th century with the he House of Saud finally controlling all of the Holy Places of Islam and the greater mass of the Arabian Peninsular. Then the Hose of Saud came to waht we might call in the West a “Church and State” accommodation with the Sunni Wahhabi. The Wahhabi would control the spiritual side of the kingdom and ensure the adherence and loyalty of the people, you cannot call them citizens as they do not live in a civil state. The House of Saud would then ensure that Sunni Wahabi Islam would be the only “brand” to be state funded and supported. In fact over 10% of Saudis are Shi'i, but they are a persecuted minority regarded as akin to heretics. This agreement left the House of Saud free to run the Kingdom in the way they wanted as long as they appeared to be good Muslims in Saudi Arabia. What the members of the family and its entourage did in the fleshpots of the world was not the concern of the Sunni Wahabi ulema. The funding of Wahhabi Salafi Islam madrassas around the world is supplied by the House of Saud, as they control the economy and government, funding the Wahhabi,

He is not mentioned in this year's Jewish Year Book and
here is a quote from Wikipedia:

"Mandelson was famously named one of Blair's 'Jewish cabal' by Tam Dalyell, the Father of the House, in May 2003. In reply Mandelson said: "Apart from the fact that I am not actually Jewish, I wear my father's parentage with pride."[35]

She argues that Saudi Arabia has been dictating to Europe what it’s immigration policies should be since the mid 1970’s.

They have been using the leverage and power created by oil to take over Europe since the OPEC oil-price rise of 1974.

Saudi Arabia demanded large-scale Muslim immigration as a condition for continuing to export oil to Britain.

They knew that Muslims, with their higher birth-rates would lead to the inexorable islamification of Britain and Europe.
