This, an account by doctors in Mumbai, is what all who stand in the way of the Islamist conquest are up against:
‘It was apparent that most of the dead were tortured. What shocked me were the telltale signs showing clearly how the hostages were executed in cold blood,’ one doctor said. The other doctor, who had also conducted the post-mortem of the victims, said: ‘Of all the bodies, the Israeli victims bore the maximum torture marks. It was clear that they were killed on the 26th itself. It was obvious that they were tied up and tortured before they were killed. It was so bad that I do not want to go over the details even in my head again,’ he said.
Update: The Jerusalem Post has reported that a doctor at a Mumbai hospital has cast doubt on the torture claim. The New York Times, however, appeared to confirm that it was true.

December 1st, 2008 12:01amI had suspected this all along after the baby boy was rescued covered in blood very early on.
And to describe these victims as 'hostages' as if they could be released eventually by compassionate terrorists, is an insult to their horrendous suffering.
How will the BBC indeed handle the truth that they were tortured and murdered simply because they were Jews?

Of course the BBC won't report it...I doubt the NY Times or LA Times will report it.
The BBC won't even call these monsters what they are... 'Islamist madmen'.
Who in their right mind could torture and kill innocent, unarmed citizens?
Our news media wouldn't show the jihadist's beheading innocent people in Iraq or people jumping from the burning World Trade Center's twin towers in New York. They didn't even want US citizens to see the planes flying into those buildings. The liberal press claimed they wanted to protect our sensitivities and the relatives of those lost in this carnage.
I agree that these actions and sights are gruesome to the utmost...but in not reporting what civilized people are up against...the liberal press continues to protect these and future terrorists and their sick religion.
The world needs to wake up.

December 1st, 2008 1:33amHere's a thought I'm going to try to propagate:- in the last few months on Crimewatch there have been a few references to a case where it was useful to acertain where someone had been by analysing a sample of their hair. The results were quite remarkable and - if true - it was possible to work out which part of the world someone had spent a few weeks or months in recently. I can't remember the precise details but it wasn't all that long ago - within the last year or eighteen months at the outside.
So - if the bodies of the terrorists have been preserved it should be possible to work out where in the world they had been over the last few months. Certainly it should be possible to decide whether it's more like to be Karachi or Bradford.
I reckon it's going to have to be on the agenda soon and a few people probably won't want it on there at all so...get shouting!

December 1st, 2008 1:39amThe very blood of these victims cries out for someone to confront and stop this barbarism.
But alas, if Britain continues to elect Labour, Tory and Liberal Members of Parliament, not only will those cries go unheard, but similar atrocities will begin in Britain.

Only these are not "Islamist madmen," as An American says above. That diagnosis would excuse them.
They are entirely sane and they are following the edicts of the Koran. For them, Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims who disagree with them, anyone who disagrees with them, are not human beings.
The Islamist murderers take pleasure in their pain, and slaughter them as animals.

December 1st, 2008 3:27amHerbert Thornton - there is no one to vote for in Britain. They are all on the same agenda: denial and self-aggrandisement. No thought for our country. Top table. Feet under. Arrow pointing to EUSSR where the dosh and privileges are even better.

December 1st, 2008 11:44amMelanie, I can't understand why governments will not condemn the ideology that drives these terrorists to kill, maim and torture innocent people. It's time to stop the politically correct madness, and start approaching terrorism realistically.
I also can't believe the crass stupidity of this government to allow 5,000 Pakistani butchers into this country! Sheer madness.

December 1st, 2008 1:45pmSome posters offer comments of "spiritual" support in terms of religion. I would rather suggest a source of moral support in the movie "Raid on Entebbe" ( there are two, the one with Charles Bronson is that which I refer to ). The situation was different, yet the elements ( torturing and potential murder of hostages singled out as being Jews ) were timelessly familiar. The morally encouraging strength of the film is in its depiction of the reaction of fellow Jews in Israel, rising to the challenge with results that astonished the world.
Watch it when you can. A tale of hope.

December 1st, 2008 6:11pmDo any of you know that the Rabbi murdered along with his family was a member of the Lubavicher movement which is the most kind and charitable of the orthodox branch of Judaism ?.in fact the beasts that killed him had been his guests at the sanctuary in Mumbai scouting how best to do it ,whilst eating his food and sleeping in his rooms -What does that tell you about the evil breakaway from Islam that is funded and supported from one of our major "allies".How low have we sunk in order to sell arms and trade with a nation that pays us back like this -I will leave you to guess who I am referring to lest Pete would not like to pass it -Those g-d forsaken wretches will never enter paradise, just stay as dust that they well deserve to be .

December 1st, 2008 6:50pmPhil,
You ask - "How low have we sunk in order to sell arms and trade with a nation that pays us back like this - I will leave you to guess who I am referring to lest Pete would not like to pass it."
How low have we sunk? I'm sorry to say it, but the answer is that Britain is sinking towards a state frighteningly similar to that of the other nation you referred to - a state with the outward trappings of civilisation, but in fact a society where the appearance of civilisation is an empty shell.
There are still some places to which our people can flee - e.g. Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Israel, the USA, and Argentina. Some have even fled to Russia.
And others believe that the rot can be stopped or even reversed. Their identity of course is something you and I, (and from what you say, perhaps Pete) disagree on, at least for the present.

December 1st, 2008 10:02pmVerity, I thought you resided in the States?
Anyway, I cannot fully agree that there is 'no one' to stop the U.K. rot. There are some very decent Tories about- viz, Mr Fraser Nelson- and a good few in UKIP and there are even Christian political parties. And a nation's salvation does not in the last analysis rest with its politicians but its spiritual integrity. Admittedly in this respect we have sunk to an all time low but we still have a long way to go before total despair at being forsaken sets in. Renewal and revival are predicted and promised and one day will be a reality, however impossible it might seem to this crooked and adulterous generation...though imperfection in this life will like the poor be always with us, both individually and communally.

The present mayor of London is Boris Johnson who has an unhealthy fascination with Islam is part descended from Muslims: http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard-mayor/article-23478964-details/Boris+to+Asian+host%3A+I%27ll+%27out-ethnic%27+you/article.do
In 2006 he made a programme for the BBC in which he equated early Christian martyrs with Islamic bombers
http://www.jihadwatch.org/dhimmiwatch/archives/010067.php
This Saturday he was at it again on the BBC with a sumptuous programme in which he celebrated Islam as the rightful heir to the Roman Empire.

There are still plans to construct a mega mosque in London that would dwarf anything built so far, thus making London the Muslim capital of Europe. Perhaps one reason Boris became the Mayor of London was precisely because of the Muslim vote. It was either that or have a homosexual in the form of Brian Paddick .

The skewed and distorted picture of Islam given by Boris is staggering. The lights are defining dimming in Britain or should I say dhimming?

Let's see now, 5,000 bloody butchers probably means 5,000 butcher's wives as well (or should that be 20,000?), and who knows how many butcher's brats and cousins and uncles and aunts and grandparents, no doubt all eager to draw social security payments, and to fill up even more mosques, and... and... etc etc!
In another thread, Dipper asked for ideas on how to thwart the Islamists. Well, for starters, how about a complete ban on the inhumane practice of Halal butchery. That would stop this crowd coming in, and may even persuade a goodly number of others, already in residence, to bugger off!
sebastian
December 2nd, 2008 12:10pmI think if British butchers (ie proper ones) were to slaughter animals by throat slitting, the animal rights lobby would make mayhem. It's claimed that this form of slaughter is humane. It isn't. I've seen slaughter by that method, and slaughter by captive bolt. The latter is quicker. Almost instant. But an animal with a slitted throat takes minutes to die. I've watched as trussed sheep are cut then allowed to bleed to death whilst struggling to make sound and to rise to their feet. It's disconcerting. The animal clearly suffers. It's not to be encouraged. Neither must we permit the smearing of blood from slaughtered animals over the walls of newly opened businesses: another unedifying "muslim" practice. Halal slaughter causes more animal distress than foxhunting and hare coursing.
I think NuLab must really be stark, staring bonkers to endorse this sort of separatist trend towards special treatment; this tolerance of practices that, were they of the mainstream white society, would be banned.

December 2nd, 2008 11:23pmKiwi,
You tell it like it is...
The US has not come close to the UK's Muslim population problem for now.
It's all about votes...political power. Our problem is hundred of thousands of Mexicans coming over our borders illegally. They are putting a real strain on our social services and prisons. Mexicans are basically socialists and our Democratic politicians know they will get their votes. Our Moslem population also votes solidly Democratic.
So, it goes on...what is bad for our country is good for our liberal Democratic politicians.
I don't expect Obama to stop the Mexican invasion...they will vote for him. And I don't expect him to stop Muslim immigration...he can count on their votes. They consider him to be a Muslim...once a Muslim, always a Muslim.
We need to close the gates now, but I don't see that happening until it is too late.
