Winter is closing in, so the Spectator is choosing its parliamentarian of the year, selected by a panel of judges taken from among the Westminster cognoscenti. But, as in previous years, we’re also asking you to vote for a readers’ representative. Past winners include politicians such as Douglas Carswell, Margaret Thatcher and Nadine Dorries. All you have to do to nominate this year’s winner is scroll downwards and — in no more than 250 words — nominate your choice.
We’ll publish a selection of your entries in the magazine in the coming weeks, and the writer of the best contribution will win two tickets to the awards ceremony at Claridge’s on Wednesday 16th November.
The closing date for entries is Monday 31st October. Good luck!
