New Yorker journalist George Packer, who was in Burma just a couple of months ago, delivers his scathing assessment of the junta's handling of the aftermath of the cyclone. And he quotes a message sent by an American who lives there: "The malevolence of the Burmese government toward its people is incomprehensible..."
