81 percent of Americans think the country is in a recession

Alarming news from the latest Wall Street Journal poll: 81 percent of Americans now say the economy is in recession, comapred to 66 percent last month and 53 percent at the turn of the year. The danger is that this becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. The economic numbers, though, show the economy continuing to grow--albeit at a snail's pace.
