It never ceases to amaze me that a man of your refined cultural sensibilities (a love of classical music, opera, the sport of kings, fine food; a visceral loathing for the whole Harry Potter phenomenon) could be so passionate about such an ugly sport.

It provokes an odd thrill of pleasure in this steady American reader to discover that some posts cross the Atlantic as the purest gibberish. Glad to see that some local color remains in the Anglo-sphere. Wonder what topics equally befuddle in the return crossing.
